“May I ask if you saw a significant difference on the scale or on your body after the 30 day shred?”
-Anonymous

I’m never done with it to be honest (I’m a sloth I just do it occassionally) but it’s a great workout you can barely talk and breathe between the circuits.

“Do you have any suggestions for a workout playlist?”

“heyy :) i have a question about the 30 day shred, do you do each level a week? like level one for one week and then 2 the next and so on? how exactly does it work?”
-health-nut-apocalypse

It has three levels and each level you will have to do it for 10 days. They are progressively harder. It’s wee a bit overwhelming but it will get easier eventually. Each level only requires about 25 minutes and it flies by! The first time I did it I was so sore I barely could walk.

And it feels like Jillian herself is your personal trainer.

“good exercises that will give me an "hourglass shape" ?(:”
-Anonymous

If you have pear shape figure I don’t think you can get the hourglass one. What non-hourglass figures usually lack is all-over muscle tone.

Embrace your body.

“I just started to run 3 times a week for 30 mins because I want to lose my body fat, but what else would you suggest to get better results (and I also want to work on getting a flat stomach) ? I'm 15 by the way :)”
-Anonymous

Do some strength training as well. It helps to tone your body. Find your exercise here or here :) 30 Days Shred and Pilates are good too.

Don’t forget healthy eating!

“Do you think losing 10-15 pounds in 4-5 months is pushing it? it's those stubborn last few that won't seem to come off no matter how hard I try.. do I need more time, less time..?”
-Anonymous

Time is another matter. You might not see the results you expect overnight. Push you limit, reschedule your routine (if you usually go for a jog on the morning, go for it on the evening etc), increase your level of exercise and I suggest you to try High Intensity Interval Training. Forget not clean eating and plenty of water!

“any advice for losing at LEAST 20 lbs in a month?”
-Anonymous

At least 10lbs, YES. I don’t think 20lbs in a month is reasonable and sustainable but it depends on our body too.

“What would you/do you pay for a gym membership?”
-20-boy-summer

I’m currently not attending any gym course. I just do workouts at home (I have kettle bells, dumb bells, exercise ball and an old treadmill) but I would only at fair price.

“Is there a such thing as drinking too much water before exercising? I like to stay hydrated, but lately while I'm doing crunches or running my stomach feels extremely sloshy.”
-Anonymous

hyponatremia or water intoxication. Google it.

Not trying to be rude but the amount of questions that can be Google-ed in my inbox is somewhat overwhelming right now.

“How long does it take to see results? Please don't give me it takes longer than you think or it depends for each person. How long does it take to build muscle?”
-luvmei

There isn’t an easy answer for this because ultimately everybody has different genetics, diets, effort and workout efficiency. But with the correct diet and workouts, you can see the result in as soon as 2 weeks.

“Should I still work out even though I'm ill..? Like, with a cold?”
-Anonymous

Better have a rest. Working out in ill condition will not give you any any real training effect, so you are wasting time and energy. But if you r body still can take it. Why not? But I believe you will feel lousy after workout.

It is not the end of the world if you take some time off to rest. Missing a week of workout will not deteriorate your fitness level significantly. Trust me, you do not have to start all over again. The gym building will not run away.

Stay positive and strong!
